A car pulling slightly after a tire replacement and alignment

Safety-critical vehicle advice should be treated as general discussion; use qualified repair help when a fault could make a vehicle unsafe.

After replacing two tires and getting an alignment, the car drifts slightly right on a straight, fairly level road. The steering wheel is nearly centered, and tire pressures match the door sticker. I know road crown can cause a small pull, but this feels more consistent than before the work. Should I return with a description and the alignment printout, or is there another basic check worth doing first?

I’d go back and ask them to recheck it. A slight drift after tires and alignment is exactly the kind of thing they should want to hear about...

Yep. Bring the printout and describe the road you tested on, but don’t overthink it. If it’s consistent, they can usually spot where the setup needs another look.

And if they tell you “that’s just crown,” ask them to show you the numbers again. Crown exists, but it shouldn’t feel like the car has a hob...
